About this job
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate
multiple projects within our
Defence & Security business unit in Delft .
In this role, you will lead multiple diverse projects that leverage space
technologies and contribute to product and service development
for Defence, Space, and Critical Infrastructure. Our team develops
advanced solutions, for example for satellite data processing, both onboard satellites and on-ground, and for phased array antenna
technologies for space weather monitoring and satellite surveillance and
tracking.
As a Project Manager, your main task will be to ensure that technology
development projects are delivered on time and within budget, meeting
the project goals with high quality. This position offers the opportunity to
lead multidisciplinary project teams, shape next-generation ISR and SSA
technologies, and drive innovation in a dynamic, high-tech environment.
You will be coordinating between engineering teams, stakeholders and customers in a challenging environment, where Space and Defence applications demand robust, high-performance solutions.

Main responsibilities
Manage multiple projects, ensuring they contribute to the overall product and service development roadmaps and company
objectives.
• Engage with internal teams, customers, and external partners to
define clear project objectives and ensure alignment with technical
and business priorities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to drive the development,
integration, and validation of ISR and SSA technologies, spanning
both software and hardware.
• Define and implement project plans , including timelines, resource
allocation, and risk management, to ensure successful execution.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks, track progress, and drive timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
Requirements
• Master's degree preferably in a technical field , or equivalent experience in managing complex technical projects.
• At least 3 years of project management experience , preferably in
the Defence sector, leading multidisciplinary teams to successful
outcomes in a high-tech domain.
• Strong communication and leadership skills , with the ability to
navigate government, Defence, and industry partnerships.
• Affinity for working in the Defence sector , with the ability to obtain
Dutch, NATO, or EU security clearances (required).
• Fluency in English and Dutch .
