Description
About Eucalyptus
We're on a mission to make good health last a lifetime. More than 1 billion people live with obesity worldwide, driving preventable chronic conditions. We're here to build better long-term care.
Eucalyptus is now part of Hims & Hers, the global leader in personalised health and wellness.
Euc is the company behind Juniper, one of the world's largest weight-management programs combining GLP-1 medication with personalised nutrition, movement support, and clinician-led care from prescribers, nurses, health coaches, pharmacists, and dietitians. Our published clinical research shows that our combined clinical and behavioural approach helps patients lose significantly more weight during their treatment with Juniper by four times.
Our Growth Story:
Supporting patients living with obesity across our 5 markets
Received selective NICE endorsement to provide services to the NHS
Tailored our offering to thousands of patients in Australia, the UK, Germany, Japan and Canada.
About the role (What you’ll be doing)
In this role you'll sit at the intersection of clinical excellence, patient experience, and public advocacy, a truly unique leadership role in digital healthcare.
Develop a team that delivers world class patient care: You'll lead and develop our Sydney-based medical support team. This means setting the bar for clinical standards, the care our team deliver and creating an environment where your team can do their best work.
Patient-first approach. Embed empathy into every decision by deeply understanding patient needs ensuring that every improvement to our patient journey makes patients feel safe, clear, and supported.
Clinical & Patient Experience Expert: You'll be the ultimate escalation point for complex patient enquiries across our Sydney HQ and offshore support teams. When our patient support teams encounter cases that require senior clinical judgement, they'll look to you. You'll work cross-functionally with clinical, operations, and product teams to identify risks, drive process improvements, and ensure we're delivering safe, high-quality care at scale.
Clinical Thought Leadership: Whether you're speaking at industry events, contributing to articles, or collaborating with our marketing team to create compelling patient-centred content, you'll help explain the wraparound care model that makes our clinics different. You'll translate complex clinical concepts into stories that resonate with patients and the broader community.
About you (Who you are)
You are a registered nurse (AHPRA) with 5+ years experience in a clinical or patient-facing role
You have proven experience leading and managing a clinical team, including performance management and professional development
You have a previous experience in telehealth environment and with GLP-1
You're a skilled communicator who can navigate sensitive clinical and non-clinical conversations with empathy, clarity, and confidence - whether with a patient, a team member, or a cross-functional stakeholder
You have strong clinical judgement and are comfortable being the final escalation point for complex or high-risk cases
You're a natural problem-solver who looks for systemic improvements, not just case-by-case fixes
You're excited about the intersection of technology, healthcare, and patient outcomes AND want to help us shape what best-in-class digital care looks like
You're comfortable speaking in public: contributing to content, speaking at events, and representing EUC's clinical philosophy externally
You embrace change, thrive in ambiguous environment, and are motivated primarily by the positive impact new solutions can have on patients
Nice to have:
Familiarity with offshore or distributed team operations
Experience as a media contributor, health writer, or public health communicator
Existing network in the Australian nursing or digital health community
