About You To be successful in this role you will be highly committed to providing excellent service outcomes for all patients, visitors, and doctors. You will also demonstrate: • Previous medical reception and/or administration experience • An interest in a career within the healthcare industry • Ability to understand and maintain privacy policies and procedures • A willingness to learn and take on training opportunities • Proficiency in Microsoft applications • Ability to adapt under pressure, prioritise and efficiently multi-task responsibilities • Excellent accuracy Highly Desirable: • Experience in the health care industry in either a reception or administrative role • Ability to accurately type letters and reports from Dictaphone and written notes • An understanding of Blue Chip (preferred) or similar medical practice package • Knowledge of private health care funds and Medicare billing Remuneration Hourly rate ranging from $30.57 to $31.89 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications.
