What to Expect Work Schedule: 5:00 pm - 1:30 am Rotating Weekends and Holidays Hourly Rate: 32.17 - 37.00 DOE MLS I - 0-1 Years of Exp - 31.17 MLS II 1 - 3 Years of Exp 0 35.89 - 37 2nd Shift Differential - 9% Weekend Shift Differential 8% Sign On Bonus Eligible Position for Well-Qualified Candidates Our comprehensive total rewards support you, your family, and your future with • Blood Banking Training Program and paid certifications • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • 401K + 5% company match • Tuition assistance up to $5k per year • Free basic life and AD&D insurance • Free short-and-long-term disability insurance • Paid time off • Employee Resource Groups • Recognition and perks As a Med Lab Scientist, you'll get to • Perform high complexity testing in immunohematology, including antibody identification, antigen typing, absorptions, elution, and cross match.(Ref Lab) • Perform production, processing, and labeling of blood components and blood donations (Manu Lab) • Provide technical support to hospital transfusion services. • Review and report test results, participate in investigative studies, participate in quality control, preventative maintenance, and validations. • Receive coaching, encouragement, and support from caring managers who are invested in your career and success. • Bachelor's degree in biology, Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent (must receive MLS certification within 6 months of eligibility) • or • Bachelor's degree in approved Science (Biology, Chemistry, etc) and currently possess certification from an accredited agency as MT/MLS • State licensure as required by regulations Experience • 0-2 years of relevant laboratory experience meeting Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist educational requirements • or • 5 years or more experience as Medical Laboratory Technician Location: 1524 West 14th Street
