• Medical Assistant (WIOA, ISY/OSY) *This is a Work Experience (work-based training) position available through Workforce Solutions Coastal Bend. All candidates will be considered after program eligibility is determined. Job Title: Medical Assistant Position Type FT/PT, 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday Location: Corpus Christi Second Chance Employer- No Pay Rate $10.00-$12.00/Hr Age: 18+ Training: HS Diploma/GED Recruiter: M. Castanon • interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and height. • Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies. • Record patients' medical history, vital statistics, or information such as test results in medical records. • Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets, or physicians' instructions to patients. • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean.
