With multiple locations throughout the greater Jacksonville area and more than 27 providers, we deliver compassionate, patient-centered care across the full spectrum of urology, from minimally invasive procedures to complex surgery and oncology. Job Overview We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and patient-centered Medical Assistant to join our perioperative team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of medical terminology, excellent clinical and communication skills, a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining patient comfort and safety. Essential Job Functions: • Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare them for evaluation by the provider. • Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, and the reason for the patient's visit. • Prepare, organize, and maintain sterile surgical instruments and procedure trays for in-office procedures. • Assist physicians with examinations, minor office procedures, and other clinical duties within scope of practice. • Ensure patient privacy and maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and organizational confidentiality standards. • Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked exam rooms and clinical work areas. • Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system. • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting a positive patient experience. • Perform additional clinical and administrative duties as assigned to support the needs of the practice. • Full-time; Monday-Friday Requirements Education and Experience: • High School diploma required • CPR certified • Medical/urology office experience: 1 year (Preferred) • Allscripts/EHR (Preferred) License/Certification: • Medical Assistant certification (Preferred) • Ability to perform KUB's is a plus
