Position Overview   &nbsp;  
  We are&nbsp;seeking physician&nbsp;editors&nbsp;to&nbsp;help us build the best learning platform in medical education.&nbsp;This position will be focused&nbsp;on&nbsp;reviewing and revising&nbsp;USMLE-style&nbsp;Step 1 and Step 2&nbsp;practice questions&nbsp;and/or related topic&nbsp;summaries.   &nbsp;This&nbsp;is&nbsp;a fully remote,&nbsp;contract-based position.&nbsp;   &nbsp;  
   What&nbsp;You’ll&nbsp;Do   &nbsp;  
  We are looking for passionate&nbsp;physicians and&nbsp;medical&nbsp;educators&nbsp;to produce&nbsp;accurate&nbsp;world-class&nbsp;content&nbsp;to&nbsp;aid&nbsp;medical&nbsp;students in their education and prepare for their USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 exams.&nbsp;  &nbsp;  
 
  Review and revise existing and newly drafted questions,&nbsp;and/or existing and newly drafted topic summaries,&nbsp;to conform to specific&nbsp;product guidelines,&nbsp;including adhering to standards for&nbsp;educational value,&nbsp;readability,&nbsp;and use of&nbsp;inclusive language.  &nbsp;  
 
  Ensure assessment items&nbsp;and/or topic&nbsp;summaries&nbsp;are&nbsp;accurate, clinically realistic,&nbsp;and scoped appropriately&nbsp;to prepare&nbsp;for the Step 1 and Step 2 exams.&nbsp;  &nbsp;  
 
  Work with&nbsp;the&nbsp;medical illustration team to create&nbsp;or collect&nbsp;images and figures&nbsp;that&nbsp;highlight&nbsp;important medical concepts or disease processes.  &nbsp;  
 
  Attend team meetings as needed and regular check-ins with the&nbsp;writing team.  &nbsp;  
 
  Identify&nbsp;and complete other tasks as needed.  &nbsp;  
 
   What You Bring   &nbsp;  
 
  Terminal medical&nbsp;degree,&nbsp;either MD or DO. (Required).  &nbsp;  
 
  Successful completion of USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 exams (Required).  &nbsp;  
 
  Board&nbsp;certification in&nbsp;a US-approved medical or surgical specialty&nbsp;or&nbsp;completion of at least two years of&nbsp;ACGME-accredited&nbsp;residency training. (Required).  &nbsp;  
 
  Prior&nbsp;medical question writing experience&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;plus.  &nbsp;  
 
  Experience in formal medical education is a plus.&nbsp;  &nbsp;  
 
  Familiarity with AI-enabled workflows&nbsp;is a plus.  &nbsp;  
 
  Available to commit a&nbsp;   minimum of&nbsp;10 hours per week of asynchronous work.   &nbsp;  
 
  Excellent writing, editing, and copy-editing skills with close attention to detail.  
 
  Commitment to the organizational mission of transforming medical education to better serve educators and learners.  &nbsp;
