Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer to join the Advanced E-7A Mechanical Systems Team in Tukwila, WA. This position will be primarily responsible for the overall Mechanical Systems Design of the Advanced E-7 with a specific focus on liquid cooling system design. This position will be 100% onsite. Position Responsibilities: Support the development and documentation of mechanical, fluid system, and thermal environment requirements to establish the system design. Assist in the development, maintenance, or modification of system, component, and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups. Perform and document analysis to validate and verify that systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Contribute to supplier development, test, and production activities, providing direction to suppliers to optimize integration and achieve program goals. Support system component design/proposal standards to provide installation and detail documentation. Work under general direction. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences) 5+ years of related work experience Experience managing projects Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Active U.S. Secret Clearance 3+ years of related work experience with Masters Strong written, verbal communications and presentation skills Familiarity with FAA and Military Certification Experience with Commercial Derivative Aircraft Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
