The Company My Client is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers within its field of metal processing and associated products supplying into the water, construction and utilities industries. The company is a well established producer to the global markets, having plants in the UK, Europe, Asia and America. The Telford site is looking once again to expand due to further investment, within this globally secure organisation. Key Skills • Mechanically Biased Engineering Qualifications • Experience Working in a Medium/Heavy Manufacturing Arena • Team Player and Enthusiastic Attitude The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies, working on a number of process machinery lines, driven by automated machinery. The ideal candidate will come from a medium to heavy engineering background, but this is by no means a necessity and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with a mechanical bias, but have some multi-skilled knowledge. Also able and willing to be involved in general mechanical work on pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, presses, extruders, gearboxes other manufacturing heavy machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
