Mechanical/HVAC Takeoff Assistant Schedule: Full-Time | Monday to Friday | US hours Key Responsibilities • Read and interpret mechanical/HVAC construction drawings and blueprints • Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for sheet metal, ductwork, and associated piping systems • Capture granular scope items including air outlets, fire/smoke dampers, and other mechanical components • Produce accurate material quantities to support estimating and bidding efforts • Manage takeoffs across multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining consistency and completeness • Ensure no gaps or missed items in scope coverage Qualifications • Proven experience performing mechanical/HVAC takeoffs • Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical construction drawings • High attention to detail, particularly in quantity accuracy and scope completeness • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple takeoff assignments independently Tools and Software • Experience in estimating/takeoff software (Trimble, Bluebeam, Planswift, etc.) • Procore or similar project management platforms
