Mission Brief
You will be an integral part of the Avionics department, specifically the Harness & Structures team, that designs the complete Launch Vehicle harness, together with the in-house developed Avionics units and necessary enclosures. Doing so in close collaboration with the Avionics production and machining teams, as well as all relevant stakeholders from other departments.
You will be the product owner of mechanical design for several of our in-house developed Avionics units, both for the current and next generation of our Launcher. You will own the lifecycle of it, manage associated interfaces and ensure delivery on time, budget and scope. Interdisciplinary tasks and fast paced R&D are your daily business, and you thrive in that kind of environment.
Your Role in Our Space Mission
Carry out the mechanical design of Avionics Units. Aligning constantly with stakeholders such as the electrical designers as well as the interfacing system responsibles
Own the design and configuration of Avionics Units

Track design changes and adapt accordingly following the company processes
Collaborate with stakeholders (structures, propulsion, sensor, actuator teams) to align interfaces and requirements
Execute harness routing for our current and next generation Launcher. Planning, modeling, and documenting harness paths, including bundling, clamping, and routing in 3D environments
Generate support documentation for production, such as assembly instructions, harness drawings, work instructions, etc.
Design test fixtures, jigs and other assemblies to support development and testing
Identify and implement constant improvements to our processes to streamline operations and reduce costs together with potential errors
Interpret system-level diagrams and topologies
Support integration, testing and production activities, ensuring manufacturability and installation feasibility
