Want to help build the next generation of smart machinery? Are you a driven Mechanical Engineer with a passion for precision engineering, automation, and complex machine building? As a Mechanical Design Engineer , you play a key role from concept to realization. You will design advanced mechanical modules and mechatronic systems within a multidisciplinary team of electrical, software, and manufacturing experts. What will you do? • Design & Engineering: Develop and detail high-quality mechanical concepts, assemblies, and sub-systems using SolidWorks (3D/2D). • Technical leadership in detail: Take responsibility for accurate calculations, simulations (FEA), and the correct application of GD&T. • Data & Document Management: Manage technical BOMs, production drawings, and project documentation in Teamcenter (PLM). • Multidisciplinary collaboration: Align designs closely with electrical & controls engineers to ensure seamlessly integrated solutions. • Quality & Optimization: Design with a focus on manufacturability (DFM), cost efficiency, sustainability, and safety standards (CE, UL). What do you bring? • Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, or equivalent through experience. • Experience: Proven experience in mechanical design and complex machine building. • CAD/PLM Expertise: Excellent knowledge of SolidWorks and experience with Teamcenter. Knowledge of FEA simulations is a strong plus. • Craftsmanship: Thorough understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and manufacturing techniques. • Soft skills: An analytical mindset, keen eye for detail, autonomy, and a clear communication style in a multidisciplinary environment. • Languages: Fluent in English (both written and spoken). Dutch is a major plus.
