Job Description As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing fleet vehicles, identifying mechanical issues through inspections and diagnostics, completing repairs and test drives, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Compensation $23.00-$35.00 per hour, depending on experience. Responsibilities Perform repair and maintenance of fleet vehicles, both in the shop and during road service calls. Assess vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic testing to identify worn, damaged, or malfunctioning parts. Identify and correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, subassemblies, components, parts, or systems. Verify vehicle performance and operational safety by conducting test drives and adjusting vehicle controls and systems as needed. Ensure compliance with federal and state vehicle regulations by testing engines, safety systems, and combustion/emissions control standards.
