Description Job Purpose: Responsible for the repair and maintenance of all equipment utilized by the golf course maintenance department. Duties: • Lubricates and services all course maintenance equipment • Inspects equipment for operating deficiencies • Repairs and adjusts equipment • Maintains repair records on all equipment • Trains maintenance staff in proper equipment maintenance methods • Demonstrates use of new equipment • Trains personnel in proper use of equipment • Establishes and maintains safety procedures for using equipment • Maintains safety records • Trains operators in care of new equipment • Performs general overhaul and other preventive maintenance on all equipment • Small engine repairs, i.e. mowers, weed eaters, chainsaws, backpack blowers • Minor golf car repair • Tire repair • Ability to operate a Foley Spin Grinder • Initiates and implements safety regulation and procedures • Other duties as assigned Requirements Skills/Qualifications: Minor engine repair skills Electrical troubleshooting Hydraulic troubleshooting
