You’ll receive full training to learn knife-handling and meat preparation skills, with the chance to progress through our Butchery Training Programme and become a Skilled Butcher earning up to £15.29 per hour .
Your Role
As a Meat Trimmer , you’ll work as part of a busy production team trimming, preparing, and finishing meat products to company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Trim and prepare pork products for sale.
Use knives and cutting tools safely and efficiently.
Ensure all meat is trimmed to specification and quality standards.
Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment.
Follow all Health & Safety and food hygiene procedures.
Meet production targets and support team performance.
What We Offer
£13.14 per hour , rising with training and experience.
Overtime paid for hours worked above 45 hours.
28 days’ holiday including bank holidays.
Butchery training programme – progress to a Skilled Butcher role (£15.29/hr).
