Project & Program Management Job Description Overall Purpose of the Job: Responsibilities: Leading a manufacturing engineering project in terms of equipment and related utilities. Preparation of specification of equipment and related utilities. Preparation of RFP (Required for Proposal) & RFQ (Required for Quotation). Interfacing between suppliers and internal teams (R&D, Quality & Safety, Purchasing, Production, Process, Maintenance, Planning, & IT). Leading technical discussions and comparisons until supplier selection. Performing design review with suppliers. Follow up project execution with suppliers and internal teams. Preparation of the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) at supplier and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) at our factory. Leading commissioning, installation, I/O testing, dry run, wet run and MVT (Manufacturing Validation Test) until SOP (Start of Production) and final acceptance. Monitoring of activities to ensure matching with project timeline and Budget. Cooperating with the ME resources through project phases. Reporting activity progress to Egypt ME projects manager. • Improve safety and health condition in his area. • Improve Environmental impact & implement Zero landfill waste management system. Education, Skills, Experience required: Project Management Skill is Required. Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills in English. Ability to Apply Lean Manufacturing Concepts. Auto CAD, MS Project & MS Office Tools. B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering – Manufacturing/ Power Department. 5 -7 years’ experience in the field of manufacturing projects in a related industry. On hand experience in manufacturing engineering projects in an industrial environment. Experience with project management. Excellent understanding of safety rules in an industrial environment. Familiar with equipment documentation including mechanical drawings, pneumatic & hydraulic diagrams is a plus. Experience in Automation and Home Appliances technologies is a plus.
