June 29, 2026 NORTH WELLINGTON HEALTH CARE PALMERSTON & DISTRICT HOSPITAL AND LOUISE MARSHALL HOSPITAL POSTING #2026-145 MDRD REPROCESSING TECHNICIAN (CASUAL) A casual cross-site MDRD Reprocessing Technician position is available within our Nursing Department at the Palmerston & District Hospital and Louise Marshall Hospital, sites of North Wellington Health Care. The homesite for this position is Louise Marshall Hospital. This position is unionized with OPSEU, Local 226. REQUIREMENTS: • Knowledge of sterile department, re cross infection and decontamination • Successful completion of the Central Service Techniques Course • CSA Certification or willingness to obtain • Experience in all areas of MDRD, including decontamination area, sterile area, portering and dispatch, and record maintenance • Detail orientated with demonstrated aptitude for utmost accuracy; ability to adhere to strict procedures & protocols • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast, often time pressured and constantly changing environment • Satisfactory performance and attendance required • Satisfactory Reference Checks required prior to start date • Must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check • Must complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment prior to being hired WORKING CONDITIONS: • Standing for long periods of time • Moving and lifting • Pushing and pulling • Walking HOURS OF WORK: • On an as needed basis • As per the Collective Agreement SALARY:  $28.98 – $30.96 per hour Interested applicants  please submit your cover letter and resume on BambooHR at the following link:   https://whca.bamboohr.com/jobs/ INTERNAL applicants please apply with your work email address.
