Job Description A VVIP family well known to Great British Nannies is seeking a qualified, experienced and confident maternity nanny for a period of 6 months as of the end of August. The role will be in the U.K and Saudi Arabia, with potential other travel. The baby is 2 weeks old currently. As an experienced maternity nurse, you will have had at least 5 years of experience working with newborns and supporting mothers. Confident in your approach and abilities to guide the mother whilst also recognising when to step back and be flexible with the mother’s wishes and ideas on routine setting and personal preferences. The ideal candidate will be kind, flexible and a real team player, someone who enjoys and works well within fully staffed households with excellent recent and contactable references. Confidentiality, respect and great communication skills are paramount for the role. As a maternity nurse, you will be required to meet all the daily needs of the baby, including establishing routines, feeding, bathing and all aspects of maintaining excellent hygiene, sleeping, maintaining a clean and tidy nursery, and ensuring laundry is carried out daily along with daily reports to the parents when required. The schedule will be 24/6 or on occasion or during the first few weeks 24/7 depending on the contract length and comfort of the family and maternity nurse, including a 4-hour break during the day and other support from the household team. You will be required to share a room with the baby whether in the U.K or whilst travelling. Someone who is comfortable and flexible to travel at short notice is preferred. This is a very supportive household where the staff work well in supporting each other and ensuring adequate rest. The salary on offer is from £325 – £400 gross per day. The family is ready to interview and trial candidates immediately in London. Package: Salary from £325– £400 gross per day.
