Represent The Trade Desk Marketplace Quality team in discussions with various internal teams, clients, partners and industry organizations on topics related to inventory quality
Craft strategic external messaging about sensitive industry topics related to inventory quality and transparency
Evaluate inventory partners to determine compliance to posted inventory policies
Investigate client and vendor inquiries related to inventory policies
Conduct regular technical analysis of platform-wide data related to supply quality
Find technical, operational, policy or business solutions to complex inventory quality problems
Handle complex, sensitive discussions with clients, partners and vendors to reach favorable outcomes
Who you are:
8+ years of demonstrated expertise in supply quality and/or brand safety through published work, industry contributions, or measurable outcomes at a DSP, SSP, ConnectedTV vendor, agency, publisher, or ad verification vendor
Proven ability to drive cross-functional initiatives from problem identification through resolution, influencing stakeholders across product, partnerships, legal, and commercial teams without direct authority
Experience managing and evaluating third-party vendor partnerships (e.g., IAS, DoubleVerify, HUMAN, DeepSee, Jounce…etc.), including contract reviews, capability assessments, and ongoing performance accountability
Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries
Strong understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, current trends and IAB initiatives related to supply quality and transparency
Knowledge of the anti-fraud and brand safety offerings of major advertising technology vendors
Outstanding ability to think critically and solve complex problems, “detective” level perseverance
Ability to continually make progress on long-term projects while also managing the day-to-day needs of a dynamic, rapidly growing business
Superior ability to communicate to a variety of internal and external stakeholders
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Intensely curious self-starter able to work independently
Experience with JIRA, Excel, OpenRTB protocol and working with APIs to create, update and retrieve data
