Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Marketing & Youth Engagement Intern will support the Marketing & Communications team in creating engaging content that highlights the impact of Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica programs. This internship provides hands-on experience in marketing, social media, photography, videography, and nonprofit communications while helping tell the story of the Club through authentic youth-centered content. WORK SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION: · July 20th to September 20th, 2026. · Approximately 5 Hours Per Week · $20.00 per Hour · Reporting to: Lindsey Lincoln. · Site Location: Administration Office MARKETING & YOUTH ENGAGEMENT INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES: · Capture photos and videos of Club activities, events, and programs. · Create content for social media, email communications, and print collateral. · Participate in brainstorming sessions, content planning meetings, and team meetings. · Assist with event coverage and storytelling projects that showcase program impact. · Internal: Maintain regular contact with Marketing & Communications staff, Club leadership, program staff, volunteers, and Club members. · External: May interact with community members, families, donors, and partners while supporting content creation and event coverage activities. Requirements SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: · Interest in marketing, communications, photography, videography, social media, or youth development. · Positive attitude and willingness to learn. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills. · Comfortable working with children and teens. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: · Recent high school graduate or current college student. PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: · Frequent standing and walking during Club activities and events.
