Foothills Painting is seeking a Marketing Director to lead and scale its marketing function during a critical phase of growth. This is a hands-on leadership role for a strategic operator who can take full ownership of marketing, drive measurable revenue impact, and build the systems and playbooks required to support continued expansion. Who They Are Foothills Painting is a Colorado-based residential and commercial painting company founded 15 years ago. It serves as the flagship operating model for National Painting Group, a portfolio of painting companies projected to generate approximately $37M in revenue this year. Why They’re Hiring The business has reached a stage where it requires a dedicated leader to own the function end-to-end. As Foothills enters an accelerated growth phase, the company needs a Marketing Director who can step in immediately, build structure, implement scalable systems, and execute with accountability. This role carries direct responsibility for revenue impact, marketing efficiency, and measurable contribution to top-line growth. RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS Multi-Channel Demand Generation You take full ownership of Foothills Painting’s marketing across channels, with hands-on capability and strong performance instincts, including: • Expert-level Meta (strategy and execution) • Strong Google Ads, Google Business Profile, and Local Services Ads competency • Expert in SEO and local maps optimization • Expert in direct mail, print, and local branding with concentrated geographical takeover • Strong business development and partner or affiliate marketing capability (preferred, not required) • Expert in website click conversion, design, and landing page performance • Expert in existing client nurture and marketing Performance Marketing and Optimization You manage and optimize performance with disciplined testing and decision-making: • Manages $100k+ per month in paid media directly • Understands CAC, ROAS, and LTV:CAC ratio • Builds testing frameworks across creative, offers, and audiences • Kills underperforming channels quickly and reallocates budget decisively • Operates with measurable performance expectations and heavy accountability Systems and Playbooks You naturally build the systems and playbooks for the entire marketing department as you execute, creating a foundation others can follow as the team scales. Cross-Functional Alignment You work tightly with Sales and Operations to ensure marketing performance translates into revenue and operational execution: • Partners with Sales to improve close rate, lead quality, and speed-to-contact • Coordinates with Operations to manage capacity versus demand • Adjusts spend based on operational readiness Hands-On Execution You are comfortable operating lean for 18 to 24 months and do not rely on a large internal team. You can personally: • Launch and optimize campaigns • Build landing pages • Write ad copy • Structure offers • Analyze campaign performance • You also manage vendors as needed, but you are willing to get your hands dirty and make it happen Compensation: Starting at 200K base Location: Colorado, United States Serv uses AI tools in our recruitment process, including developing job postings and note-taking during interviews.
