By translating scientific and operational information into clear, enjoyable experiences, the role strengthens guest engagement while promoting responsible behaviour toward oceans and marine wildlife. The position also supports aquarium service standards by maintaining safe guest areas, following animal welfare requirements, collecting visitor feedback, and continually developing knowledge of marine species, exhibits, resort services, and conservation initiatives. Key Responsibilities * Approach and engage aquarium visitors in a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional manner. * Share accurate information about marine animals, aquarium exhibits, habitat themes, and conservation topics. * Deliver formal presentations, informal talks, and interactive education programs for small and large groups. * Facilitate marine animal activities according to operating schedules, safety requirements, and guest demand. * Explain conservation threats and practical actions guests can take to support healthier oceans. * Adapt communication style and presentation content for children, families, school groups, and international visitors. * Maintain basic working knowledge of marine species, animal care practices, aquarium systems, and environmental challenges. * Use approved learning resources to strengthen knowledge of exhibits, animal collections, and aquarium storytelling. * Conduct research and prepare educational material that improves presentation accuracy and guest interest. * Participate in regular training, coaching, knowledge assessments, and presentation evaluations. * Accept constructive feedback and apply it to future guest interactions and education sessions. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment throughout public aquarium areas. * Follow approved animal welfare practices and report any concern affecting animals, guests, or facilities. * Encourage positive guest participation while protecting the comfort and wellbeing of marine animals. * Conduct guest surveys and collect feedback about aquarium programs and conservation experiences. * Help ensure visitors leave with a stronger understanding of ocean protection and marine-life conservation. * Maintain current knowledge of Atlantis Dubai attractions, events, facilities, and related guest services. * Follow all Standard Operating Procedures, departmental manuals, safety instructions, and service guidelines. * Consistently deliver guest service that supports departmental quality assurance targets. * Attend required meetings, briefings, training sessions, and professional development activities. * Complete other reasonable education or aquarium duties assigned by management.
