As Manufacturing Engineer, you are expected to support various functions within the Manufacturing Technology team. Your role is to support NPIs, production qualifications crucial to the success of the product time to market and business continuity. This role offers the opportunity to be exposed to and learn about roles in Assembly/Package Engineering, Reliability Engineering, and Failure Analysis.  This encompasses support for these functions and familiarization with different job functions within the Manufacturing Technology group. Responsibilities • Assembly and Module NPIs and second sourcing program support • Working with CMs and OSATs to help source new materials • Researching possible new BOM as required by the products directly with material suppliers. • Documenting results in our system • Design Reviews • Work with Package Engr to support Design reviews. Knowledge of basic design rules. • Work with internal team on acceptance of design files as received from CMs and OSATs. • Document design and BOM approvals. • Engg Builds to Qual • Creation on Engineering build requests, follow thru on documentation of reports in the system • Reliability Lab support • Work with Rel Engineer and support Rel activities • Chamber operations including equipment maintenance and calibration coordination • Track and document qualification lot progress. • Failure Analysis Support • Work with Device Analysis team on any qual related failures • Ensure smooth handshake between teams • Create a tracking system and process flow and documentation procedure for failed units Skills You Will Need Minimum Qualifications: • Diploma in any related Eng field. • At least 2 years experience working in Assembly Manufacturing or Reliability Lab environment • Good communication skills • Familiarity with Rel equipment or Bond Diagrams and assembly materials Benefits & Perks: You can look forward to the following benefits: • Insurance plans with Outpatient cover • Flexible work policy LI-Hybrid LI-DK1 Silicon Labs is an equal opportunity employer and values the diversity of our employees.
