Description
We are looking for a part-time QA Tester to support the development of our products. Key Responsibilities: Perform end-to-end functional testing of web applications (account registration, login flows, file uploads/downloads, dashboard navigation, form submissions) Test secure file transfer workflows: upload, share, download, expiration, access controls, notifications Verify user interface elements: responsiveness, layout consistency, error messages, loading states, empty states Use Chrome DevTools to capture and document: JavaScript console errors, failed network requests (4xx/5xx), slow API responses, CORS issues, session/cookie problems Test cross-browser compatibility (Chrome, Firefox, Edge at minimum) • Create detailed bug reports with: clear title, steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual behavior, screenshots/screen recordings, browser console output, severity level (Critical / High / Medium / Low) Retest previously reported bugs after fixes are deployed • Maintain a testing log tracking features tested, issues found, and resolution status Requirements 1–2 years of professional QA testing experience on web applications Proficient with Chrome DevTools (Console, Network, Application, Elements tabs) Experience writing clear, structured bug reports with screenshots Good English communication skills (written reports must be clear and detailed) Self-motivated — able to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable internet connection and a modern computer with up-to-date browsers Nice-to-Have: Experience with issue tracking tools (Jira, Linear, Notion, GitHub Issues) Familiarity with SaaS platforms and web application architectures Basic understanding of REST APIs (knowing what a 401 vs. 500 error means) Experience testing file upload/download features Experience testing authentication flows (login, registration, password reset, session management) Familiarity with screen recording tools (Loom, OBS, or similar) Any cybersecurity awareness is a bonus but not required Minimum Technical and Work Environment Requirements: Internet Connection: Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of  15 Mbps . Backup internet connection with at least  10 Mbps . Backup connection must be capable of supporting work during a power outage. Primary Device: Desktop or laptop equipped with at least: Intel Core i5 (8th generation or newer) ,  Intel Core i3 (10th generation or newer) ,  AMD Ryzen 5 , or an equivalent processor. A minimum of  8 GB RAM . Backup Device: Must meet or exceed the performance of an  Intel Core i3  processor. Must be functional during power interruptions. A functioning  webcam . A  noise-canceling USB headset . A  quiet, dedicated home office space . Peripherals and Workspace:  A  smartphone  for communication and verification purposes.
