BearingPoint Sweden is expanding its Retail and Manufacturing (consumer goods and industrial manufacturing) footprint and is now looking for a Manager to join our team in Malmö. This is a strategic role where you will work closely with leading companies in the industry, helping them navigate transformation from strategy through to execution. Retail and Manufacturing are undergoing rapid change and disruptions driven by cost pressure, international complexity, AI & technology, shifting consumption behaviors. You will play a key role in helping clients stay ahead. About the Role As a Manager in our Strategy & Operations team, you will lead high-impact transformation projects while driving business growth and strengthening our presence in Malmö. This is a high-impact role combining delivery excellence, leadership, and commercial impact. You will work closely with senior client stakeholders to: Define and deliver strategies that drive growth and efficiency Lead operational excellence and supply chain transformations Optimize planning, sourcing, procurement, and cost structures Accelerate AI and digital initiatives across operations You will own both delivery and team leadership, leading project teams, ensuring high-quality outcomes, and coaching junior colleagues to perform at their best. Beyond delivery, you will actively contribute to business development by identifying opportunities, shaping proposals, and building long-term client relationships. You navigate complexity with a structured, hands-on approach and communicate effectively to influence stakeholders at all levels. A high-priority growth area within BearingPoint Opportunity to work with leading Nordic and international brands A collaborative and entrepreneurial environment where you can influence our market approach Access to a strong international network of experts What We Are Looking For M.Sc. in Engineering, Economics, or another relevant field. 6–9 years of experience from executing and leading projects in one or more of the following functional areas: supply chain management, sourcing and procurement, operational excellence (e.g., manufacturing, warehouse) and sales & operations planning Minimum of 3 years in management consulting 5+ years of relevant Retail and Manufacturing industry experience Excellent skills in Microsoft Tools such as Copilot, Excel and PowerPoint to support day-to-day business activities High business acumen, strong analytical skills, team spirit, and the ambition to thrive in a challenging and fast-paced environment Comfortable working in an international environment with willingness to travel for client assignments both locally and abroad Experience in sales and business development activities with a proven track record in selling projects and leading teams Proven leadership skills Fluency in both Swedish and English (written and spoken) What we offer BearingPoint is a great place to work.
