Their is one good opportunity for Finance & Accounts Manager with our Consumer Goods client based in Lagos , Nigeria
Position : Finance & Accounts Manager
Qualification : Qualified Chartered Accountant ( 2019/2020/2021/2022/2023 )
Functional Area: Finance & Accounts
Key Performance Matrices include:
– Participate in the preparation of annual budgets, compare actual performance against the budget, identify and analyze variances, and monitor the implementation of necessary actions.
– Ensure timely financial reporting and compliance with statutory deadlines.
– Manage the treasury function efficiently, including projecting future cash flows, arranging adequate funds, and ensuring disbursements align with approved operational cash flows. This includes liaising with banks, monitoring daily cash balances, and submitting cash flow statements.
– Manage the smooth operation of the MIS and computerized accounting system, taking necessary actions for upgrades as needed.
– Develop and establish an effective management accounting function within the organization to lead improvement initiatives.
– Identify and assess relevant techniques to adopt and supervise the implementation of management accounting practices.
– Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and statutory requirements and audit processes.
– Initiate, review, assess, and implement programs to improve productivity of all processes and systems within the organization and advise operational managers on workflow analysis and cost management techniques.
– Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and analyses to support decision making at Board and JV meetings, and provide insights into financial performance, business opportunities, and risk assessments
