Description
Kobie, a 35-year veteran in the loyalty industry and USA Top Workplace, is establishing a Tech Hub in India and seeks a Cloud Engineering Manager to lead the design, delivery, and operation of scalable, secure, enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure. This role will mentor cloud engineers, drive automation and best practices adoption, and ensure operational excellence across cloud platforms powering client solutions.
What You'll Do
• Partner with business and delivery stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, secure cloud solutions
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of cloud engineers, fostering accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
• Own end-to-end delivery of cloud engineering initiatives, ensuring solutions meet performance, reliability, and security standards
• Establish and maintain operational processes, runbooks, and standards for cloud infrastructure and platform services
• Drive technical strategy discussions, identify risks and gaps, and ensure adherence to security and compliance standards across all implementations
What You Need
• 7+ years of experience delivering hands-on technology solutions in cloud or infrastructure environments
• 5+ years of experience with cloud-native architectures, preferably AWS
• 3+ years of experience leading or managing engineering teams
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles including high availability, scalability, and cost optimization
• Hands-on experience with automation and CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar)
• Strong Linux administration experience, preferably with RHEL-based systems
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes-based platforms, application architectures including Java-based systems, and database best practices
• Experience with cloud networking and security controls
Nice to Have
• Preference for Ansible and AWX automation tools
• Experience delivering large-scale technical projects from planning through production support
• Experience working in fast-paced, client-facing environments
