About the role The Manager, Advocacy & Communications, India leads Nutrition International’s advocacy, partnerships and communications in India to strengthen its influence and visibility in line with the overall organizational vision and priorities at the country level. Reporting to the Country Director and working closely with program teams as well as regional and global advocacy, communications and partnerships colleagues, the position translates evidence into compelling policy narratives, builds trusted relationships with government and strategic partners, and enhances Nutrition International's profile as a credible technical partner and thought leader in India's nutrition ecosystem. In this role you will : · Identify strategic policy windows and opportunities to influence nutrition policy, programming and implementation at national and state levels. · Translate technical evidence into clear policy recommendations, advocacy messages and strategic narratives for diverse audiences. · Support the Country Director in building and sustaining high-level engagement with government, policymakers, development partners, technical institutions, private sector actors and professional networks and coalitions. · Develop and implement integrated communications strategies that strengthen Nutrition International's visibility and reputation in India. · Lead the development of high-quality communications products including policy briefs, reports, impact stories, presentations, website content, newsletters, multimedia assets and knowledge products. · Monitor traditional, digital and social media to identify emerging issues, opportunities and reputational risks, advising leadership and developing proactive crisis communications mechanisms, where appropriate. · Develop and disseminate key messages, press releases, media briefs, blogs and opinion pieces and other external communication materials. · Identify and pursue opportunities for organizational visibility through strategic participation in external events, policy dialogues and other initiatives. · Provide strategic communications and advocacy advice
