Position Overview The Mammography Tech is responsible for operating imaging equipment to perform procedures for a specified patient population. This role requires precision, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering quality patient care in accordance with West Cancer Center’s Mission, Vision, and Values.  Key Responsibilities Perform quality radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, policies, and procedures Manage resources effectively, including supplies and equipment Demonstrate professionalism and excellent customer service in all interactions Maintain compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures Provide occasional demonstration and instruction to student technologists Perform other job-related functions as assigned Qualifications Education & Experience Required: Completion of a formal education program in radiography accredited by a mechanism acceptable to ARRT Certification and registration as R.T. (R) ARRT Must obtain certification and registry in Mammography within six months of hire State license in accordance with state regulations BLS Certification through the American Heart Association Skills & Abilities Basic knowledge of radiographic equipment and imaging procedures Effective communication and interpersonal skills Basic knowledge of radiology information systems (RIS, HIS, and PACS preferred) Why West Cancer Center is a Great Place to Work Meaningful Impact : Play a direct role in supporting patients through one of the most challenging times of their lives.
