Description
The Opportunity We are looking for an entry-level, full-time Maintenance Technician to join our Operations team in Munich, supporting the upkeep of our production workstation fleet and robotics infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone with a technical software or computer science background who is comfortable working in Linux environments and wants hands-on exposure to both hardware and software systems. No prior professional experience is required – training will be provided. You will work directly with production machines, robotic hardware, and connected tooling, diagnosing issues, resolving faults, and helping keep our systems running reliably. This is a hands-on, onsite role for someone who is curious, enjoys solving unfamiliar problems, and is comfortable switching between different types of technical tasks. This position reports to the Operations Coordinator. Your Responsibilities Assemble, install, and commission new production stations and robotic embodiments, including hardware setup, cabling, and full software/OS configuration. Perform hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting of Linux-based workstations and robotics hardware, diagnosing issues across both hardware and software. Work regularly in the Linux terminal for diagnostics, configuration, and routine system administration. Support GPU-enabled workstations, Docker environments, and related infrastructure. Take ownership of unfamiliar or previously unseen technical problems, applying structured debugging and critical thinking to resolve them. Document issues, fixes, and procedures, and support testing of new equipment and tooling. Take on a variety of ad hoc technical and operational tasks as priorities shift.
