Key Responsibilities • Perform maintenance tasks such as painting, electrical repairs, equipment servicing, and landscaping. • Work autonomously while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. • Maintain the buildings and common areas in optimal condition. • Coordinate with the Store Manager for daily maintenance activities. • Request necessary parts promptly to address maintenance needs. • Conduct routine checks on diesel, gas, water levels, and prepaid meter readings. • Inspect and maintain store electrical and mechanical equipment. • Monitor cold room and walk-in freezer temperatures at hourly intervals. • Ensure the safety and functionality of all maintenance tools, equipment, and parts. • Address and resolve maintenance complaints in a timely manner. • Adhere to and execute preventive maintenance schedules. • Perform emergency repairs as needed. • Inspect and repair mechanical systems to maintain compliance with safety regulations. • Maintain electrical systems, including replacing bulbs, sockets, and repairing circuit breakers. • Assist in the installation and repair of ventilation, refrigeration, heating, and plumbing systems. • Conduct manual repairs such as fixing locks and replacing windows. • Perform general upkeep tasks, including painting, carpentry, and landscaping. • Execute any other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
