Wendover Management, LLC is seeking an outstanding, experienced Maintenance Lead to join our team in the Greater Tampa, FL area. We are looking for a Maintenance Lead with high energy, expert communication, relationship-building skills, and outstanding customer service. Role and Responsibilities In coordination with the Community Manager, the Maintenance Lead oversees the physical assets, general maintenance repairs, apartment make-readies, and preventive maintenance for the community. Under the direction of the Community Manager, supervise and schedule maintenance activities for the apartment community and maintenance staff. Coordinate, schedule, and respond to resident/management requests and service requests for occupied units. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, electronic systems, all major appliances, and other systems in the community (phone jacks, irrigation systems, etc.) Coordinate, schedule, and prepare vacant apartments for move-in. Identify and correct hazardous community conditions. Coordinate, schedule, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment and apartments. Ordering supplies and managing maintenance budget. Attendance is an essential job function. Other aspects may include the following: May be requested to assist in other community areas, including office support, etc. Assist with hazardous weather problems, fires, floods, etc. Responsible for overall organization and cleanliness of work areas and maintenance shops. ***This job description is not an all-inclusive list of functions and tasks.
