As a Machinist, you will support machining and refurbishment activities to ensure availability of rolling mill components and spare parts according to production requirements. • Machine new and used Guide Rollers, Guide Inserts, Spacer Rings, Liners, and mechanical parts. • Operate CNC Lathe, Copy Lathe, Centre Lathe, Milling, Drilling, Grinding, Hacksawing, and Round Sawing machines safely. • Perform refurbishing activities for carbide roll spacers and spare parts. • Support uninterrupted supply of guide rollers and inserts based on LP Roll Shop rolling schedules. • Carry out repair works using lathe, milling, drilling, and grinding machines. • Perform CNC Roll Turning when required. • Support machining activities in assigned and other roll shop areas when required. • Read and follow mechanical drawings and machining specifications. • Use measuring instruments and hand tools accurately. • Follow all quality and safety procedures during machining activities.
