Role and Team
As an entry level mechanic in our high production mechanic shop, you will support the mechanic shop by performing light mechanical work. This position reports to the Mechanic Shop or designated manager.
Responsibilities
Brake pad, rotor and fluid inspection
Battery test and installation
Electrical charging system check
Lighting systems inspection
Engine belt, fluid, and filter inspection and oil/filter replacement
Tire and wheel maintenance including air pressure check . Rotate and plug/patch. Replace, mount/balance as needed
Light mechanical repairs including fluids, filters, bulbs, wipers and more
Multi-point inspections
Learn preventative maintenance
Track and record vehicle information following department processes
Assist in overall general shop duties such as cleaning, driving, organizing vehicle parking and staging, etc.
Provide prompt and courteous service to internal and external customers. Maintain a professional appearance and neat work environment
Practice and promote teamwork at all times. Set a good personal example of attitude and performance

Qualifications
High School diploma or GED preferred
6 months of experience in automotive repair or related trade school experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Effective interpersonal skills
Hardworking, motivated team player
Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license that meets the requirements
Able to safely drive a variety of make/model/sizes of vehicles
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance
