We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician III/IV to install, troubleshoot, and service Network, AV, and security systems. The ideal candidate will run low voltage cabling, install security cameras, access control systems, and AV systems at Zone 5 facilities.  The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience, and the ability to work collaboratively with Information Technology and Security departments.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:    Pull, label, terminate, and test Cat6, control wire, security wire, and other low-voltage cabling   Install security cameras, network equipment, Wi-Fi access points, racks, patch panels, and structured wiring panels   Read and follow low-voltage plans, wiring diagrams, device layouts, and project notes   Test cables and troubleshoot wiring, network, camera, and Conference Room Equipment   Keep wires, racks, panels, and equipment clean, organized, and properly labeled   Coordinate with project stakeholders the requirements and timelines.   Follow safety rules, company procedures, and project requirements   Work independently with little to no supervision.   REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (doesn’t have to exactly follow below bullets, but provided as a guide)   Low-voltage installation experience required   Experience with Cat5e/Cat6 wiring, terminations, cable testing, and basic networking   Experience with security cameras, Access Control Systems, Conference Room systems, TVs, Wi-Fi, or structured wiring   Ability to use hand tools, power tools, ladders, cable testers, tone generators, and basic troubleshooting tools   Ability to read basic plans, wiring layouts, and installation instructions   Valid driver’s license   Professional attitude and good communication skills   Able to lift materials, climb ladders, and work in attics, crawl spaces, ceilings, racks, and active job-site conditions as needed   U.S. Citizenship   PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS   Network racks, patch panels, switches, routers, and Wi-Fi access points   Security Camera Systems   Access Control Systems   Conference Room Systems   Fiber optic cabling or fiber termination   Pay range for this role $45 — $50 USD What's in it for you: Benefits:  Competitive total compensation package  Comprehensive benefit package options include medical, dental, vision, life, and more. 401k with company-match  4 weeks of paid time off each year 12 annual company holidays Why Join Zone 5 Technologies?
