Description
AlphaGrep is a quantitative trading firm founded in 2010 that uses systematic approaches to identify alpha factors and deploy ultra-low latency trading systems across global exchanges. This role is a Low Latency Software Developer in the infrastructure development group based in Shanghai, responsible for designing, developing, and testing proprietary trading applications that are robust and extremely fast.
What You'll Do
• Design, develop and test proprietary trading software
• Build trading strategy simulation software optimized for distributed computation
• Develop large-scale data acquisition, storage, accessibility and visualization systems
• Implement real-time trade management and risk analysis systems
• Identify and advocate for innovative solutions to complex technical problems
• Collaborate with software developers, quantitative traders and researchers in cross-functional teams
What You Need
• 2+ years of hands-on software development experience in C++
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms
• Exposure to network programming (TCP/IP) and multi-threaded applications
• Exposure to real-time programming and computational intelligence
• Brilliant problem-solving abilities
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
