Role Overview The Logistics and Inventory Management Officer (LIMO) will support the Field Admin. Associate Manager. Recipient mobile phones are the primary asset the LIMO will manage, alongside other GiveDirectly assets and supplies. The LIMO will work closely with the Field Administration Associate Manager on asset, insurance, and office logistics matters, and with the ICT Associate Manager on technology assets and IT-related logistics, while keeping the Operations & Procurement Manager (OPM) informed on stock levels, asset condition, and logistics risks. The role rewards strong organizational discipline, a safety-first mindset, and comfort using Google suite and other tools to track inventory accurately. Key Responsibilities and Duties Oversee  receipt, storage, packing, and dispatch/shipping of recipient phones and other GiveDirectly assets and supplies; including conducting required verification exercises as per the set standard operating procedures Organize warehouse layout and storage systems, prioritizing secure, efficient storage and retrieval of phones Enforce warehouse safety, security, and access-control protocols, with particular attention to phone storage areas Ensure proper handling and storage conditions for phones and other sensitive equipment Track phone and other stock levels and reorder points to prevent stockouts or excess/obsolete inventory Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical stock takes of phones and other assets; including participation in  routine asset verification exercise Maintain and update the phone and asset inventory database using GiveDirectly's internal tools Manage recipient phone counts and tracking as the primary inventory focus, sharing periodic stock updates with the OPM and finance team Receive and tag phones and other assets upon procurement; distribute to staff/field teams and retrieve at end of contract or program cycle Coordinate repair, maintenance, and condition assessments of phones and other assets and equipment Maintain insurance records for phones and other valuable inventory in coordination with the Procurement and Administration Associate Manager Process asset disposal in line with policy, and manage claims for lost or damaged phones and other assets Maintain accurate, audit-ready records of all internal inventory and assets, with phones as the priority category Ensure office alarms, fire extinguishers, and first aid kits are functional, serviced, and stocked Support the sourcing and set-up of field office locations as needed Coordinate with the ICT Associate Manager and any outsourced IT consultants on repairs and maintenance of computers and equipment Track IT-related assets within the overall inventory and tagging system Support efforts to ensure office internet connectivity and power backup solutions remain functional Provide periodic inventory, asset, and logistics reports to the OPM, copying in other relevant management team members Flag stock, warehouse, or logistics risks to the OPM in a timely manner Qualifications and Experience 2 or more years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or inventory management Diploma or higher in a related field Familiarity with inventory/asset-track
