Logistics 3PL Senior Broker About the Role We’re looking for an experienced and motivated 3PL Logistics Broker to join our team. If you’re a natural problem-solver with strong industry relationships and a talent for keeping freight moving efficiently, we want to hear from you. As a Senior Logistics Broker, you’ll be responsible for coordinating shipments, building carrier relationships, negotiating rates, and ensuring our customers receive exceptional service. You’ll play a key role in supporting our growing logistics and supply operations across Western Canada. POSITION BENEFITS • Competitive compensation with uncapped commission potential. • Permanent Full-time role. • Growing logistics division with advancement opportunities • Supportive team environment with autonomy in the role • Work with a company expanding across civil construction and supply chains KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Source, secure, and manage freight with reliable carriers • Negotiate competitive rates while maintaining service quality • Track and trace shipments, resolving issues proactively • Communicate with customers, carriers, and internal teams • Grow and manage a personal carrier network • Ensure timely documentation, billing accuracy, and compliance • Identify opportunities to optimize cost, service, and route efficiency REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS As a member of the Sutco transportation team, we expect you bring the following to the table: • 3+ years of 3PL brokerage experience • Understanding of TL/LTL, flatbed, heavy haul, and/or Van freight • Ability to negotiate rates and manage carrier relationships • Strong communication and problem-solving skills • Experience with TMS platforms and load boards (Loadlink, HubSpot) • High attention to detail and organizational ability • Self-motivated with strong ownership • Existing carrier network in Canada/USA • Existing customer network in Canada/USA • Knowledge of Canadian transportation regulations JOIN THE TEAM If you think there's a fit, we look forward to meeting you and thank you in advance for your application Visit our website to learn more about The Sutherland Group Different perspectives build better teams.
