We are Intrepid We are Intrepid Bamurru Plains is an all-inclusive Australian safari camp in the Northern Territory's tropical Top End, where guests experience some of Australia's most spectacular wildlife and birdlife. Set across more than 300 square kilometres of pristine floodplains and savanna woodland on the edge of Kakadu National Park, this exclusive, off-grid destination features just twelve guest lodgings, offering an intimate wilderness experience for our guests. The Opportunity Bamurru Plains caters up to 30 guests, and we are looking for a highly talented and passionate Lodge Manager to oversee all aspects of the daily operations. You’ll manage and refine the day-to-day, ensuring every guest receives the ‘Intrepid Experience.’ You’ll collaborate with all functions from front-of-house service to behind-the-scenes logistics to ensure everything is operating efficiently and effectively, while keeping a sharp eye on revenue, cost control, and market positioning. This is more than just a management role - it’s about bringing the lodge to life, embodying our values and setting the tone for an unforgettable guest experience. Whether it’s fine-tuning operations, mentoring your team, or implementing new ways to enhance our services, you’ll be the driving force behind Bamurru’s success as a luxury lodge, and it’s subsequent growth. This is a full time role based on site at Bamurru Plains, offering free on-site accommodation, meals and other fantastic benefits! We’d love to hear from you if you: Have proven work experience as a Hotel Manager in luxury accommodation Proven ability to manage guest experience and optimise operational performance. Strong leadership and people management skills. Good business analytics and financial management skills within a hospitality setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise and negotiate.
