Make a Real Difference Every Day
We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and adaptable Support Workers to join our team in the Worthing area, supporting a lovely lady with complex care needs to live independently and enjoy her daily life.
We are operating a live in/live out model so the right person will need to live locally so that they can enjoy going home each night. The carers will need to support a live in model when our client goes into hospital for routine procedures for a week or two.
This is great opportunity for local live in carers that are able to provide person centred care and still stay close to home. You'll be assisting with morning routines, daily living activities, companionship, and helping our client maintain her independence and quality of life.
Working Pattern
• 7 days on / 7 days off (7:45am - 4:00pm with occasional live in for a week)
• 8-hour shifts worth £140 per day!
• Occasional longer shifts may be required with advance notice for trips out etc.
• Day shifts, including weekends as part of the rota.
What You'll Be Doing
• Supporting with morning and daily routines
• Assisting with personal care where required
• Supporting with household tasks and daily living activities
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Encouraging independence and community engagement
• Promoting dignity, choice, and wellbeing at all times
What We're Looking For
• Caring, patient, and dependable individuals
• Excellent communication skills
• A flexible and positive approach to work
• Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training can be provided
• Applicants who live locally to the Worthing area are preferred
