Description SUMMARY Assists mortgage loan officer(s) and their clients with lead and borrower communication and coordination, documents collection and signatures, including ordering titles, uploading files, monitoring file progress, and scheduling next steps and updates to all parties. Position is responsible for building and maintaining mortgage loan client relationships through the delivery of outstanding customer service and attention to detail. Additionally, helps Loan Officer with various tasks as needed to improve efficiency and grow client base and market share. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPSONSIBILITES • Success in this role relies on time management skills, organization, willingness to learn and a positive attitude • Serve as the primary contact and liaison between clients and mortgage banker; answer and screen incoming phone calls, scheduling appointments and providing administrative support as needed • Follow up and respond to customer and in-house inquiries on transactions to provide superior customer service • Maintain close contact with real estate brokers and agents, underwriters, customers, and prospects • Keep all systems updated accurately, timely and with effective notes for other teammates, identifying needed or outstanding action items • Order appraisals, credit reports, background checks, titles, reference checks and other information as needed • Review all loan package documentation for discrepancies, omissions, and income calculation and report any discrepancies to the loan originator • Coordinate and prepare documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork; obtain required signatures on documentation; review documents for accuracy; coordinate follow-up items as needed • Monitor loan file for status and follows-up to prevent expiration dates • Distribute market data and general loan information to the real estate community as directed • Other duties as assigned EEO: M/F/Disability/Vets Requirements MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS • High school diploma or equivalent • One to two years of experience in sales support role • Critical thinking skills to review options/scenarios to best serve clients • Demonstrated organizational, managerial and interpersonal skills • Demonstrated professionalism and excellence in oral and written communication skills • Ability to multi-task and perform in demanding situations and excel in a structured environment • Demonstrated ability to plan and accomplish goals and meet deadlines • Familiarity with basic office equipment • Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suites, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint • Maintaining a quiet, distraction free environment if working remote is required
