The Senior Finance Controller is a key execution and structuring role, responsible for building and  running the core finance engine of the organisation. You will play a central role in: • structuring financial planning and budgeting • coordinating EU financial reporting • consolidating financial data across projects and entities • supporting the scaling of finance processes This role sits at the heart of Finance execution and works closely with: • the Finance Manager → governance and integrity • the Head of Operations → decision-making and arbitration You will contribute directly to how LNDS manages growth, complexity, and financial sustainability. Budgeting & Financial Planning You structure and drive financial planning processes: Prepare annual budgets and multi-year financial planning Support reforecasting cycles Consolidate inputs across teams and projects Build and maintain financial models You are a core contributor to budget construction, enabling informed decision-making at leadership  level. EU Projects & Financial Coordination You play a key role in managing EU-related financial complexity: Coordinate financial aspects of EU projects Consolidate financial reporting across consortia Ensure consistency and traceability of financial data Support preparation of financial reports for stakeholders This is a critical component of LNDS growth and complexity. Reporting & Financial Analysis You ensure structured and reliable financial visibility: Prepare and consolidate internal financial reports, EU and external reporting Perform financial analysis such as cost tracking, budget vs actuals, scenario modelling Support decision-making through data-driven insights Treasury & Financial Monitoring You support financial stability and visibility: Monitor cash flow and treasury Track financial execution across projects and activities Identify risks or inconsistencies and improvements areas Process Structuring & Scaling You actively contribute to building a scalable finance function: Structure finance processes and workflows Improve reporting and planning practices Contribute to tooling and data models Support transition toward a more efficient and automated finance setup Support financial operations, including invoices, payments, and audit-related activities This role is central to moving toward a lean, scalable finance model. Master's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field  5 to 10 years' experience in controlling, financial planning, financial reporting Strong experience with budgeting processes and financial modeling and analysis Strong Experience in EU-funded projects and experience in multi-entity or complex environments Exposure to audits and financial reporting frameworks Advanced in Excel / data skills Strong analytical and structuring skills  Ability to handle complexity and multiple streams  Ownership and proactivity  Attention to detail and reliability  Ability to translate data into clear insights  Collaborative mindset and ability to work across functions
