As Project Officer II, you will help structure and follow up project activities, reporting cycles, deliverables, meetings and documentation across a growing portfolio of EU-funded and data-related projects. This 24-month fixed-term role is linked to the temporary increase in workload created by newly awarded and upcoming funded projects, their defined deliverable and reporting cycles, and the need to reinforce project coordination capacity during the ramp-up and implementation phase. You will work closely with Project Managers, project leads and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate project-office activities within established LNDS, EC and national funding frameworks. You will take ownership of defined coordination activities and workstreams, helping keep projects organised, transparent and moving forward while escalating risks, decisions and dependencies in a timely manner. What you will do • Support the implementation and coordination of EU-funded and data related projects, under the guidance and accountability of the relevant Project Manager • Maintain and follow-up project plans, timelines, action logs, deliverable trackers, risk and issue registers, and dependencies • Collect, consolidate and follow up on inputs from internal contributors, project partners and other stakeholders • Support the coordination of project meetings, workshops, reviews and dissemination events, including agendas, minutes, decisions and actions • Support the preparation, review, consolidation and submission of deliverables, reports and evidence required by funders • Contribute to proposal preparation and supporting documentation for EC and national research and innovation programmes • Support budget monitoring, resource-planning follow-up and project reporting by collecting inputs and highlighting risks for review • Contribute to the improvement of LNDS project management templates, tooling, filing structures, guidance materials and operational processeS What you have • Master's degree (MSc) in Natural Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Life Sciences, Social Sciences, or a related field • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in project coordination, operations coordination or project management support, ideally in a technical, scientific, research, innovation or data-related environment • Experience supporting EU-funded projects, national subsidy projects, research and innovation initiatives or comparable multi-stakeholder programmes • Good understanding of project lifecycle management, proposal preparation, reporting cycles and funder documentation requirements • Strong organisational, follow-up, communication, report writing and documentation skills • Good knowledge of office, collaboration and project management tools such as MS Office, SharePoint, Power BI, Teams, Jira, Confluence or equivalent • Good knowledge of Agile methodologies and organisations; SAFe knowledge is considered an asset • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English • Ability to work independently within an established framework, with responsibility, consi
