Description
A wonderful permanent nanny opportunity supporting a 12-week-old baby within a warm, international family, focusing on development, weaning and building confidence through the early years.
Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nanny to join a returning Eden family on a long-term basis as they navigate the next stage with their baby boy. The role will begin when the baby is approximately 12 weeks old, following on from their maternity nurse, and will involve a mixture of sole and shared care. Dad will have returned to work, whilst mum runs her own business and will divide her time between working from home and attending meetings. The family are therefore looking for somebody adaptable and confident working both independently and alongside hands-on parents. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in early childhood development and education, understanding developmental milestones and how to support them through age-appropriate play, outings and experiences. As the baby grows, the nanny will take an active role in introducing weaning, attending classes and creating stimulating opportunities that encourage curiosity and development. The family have a Scandinavian background, with dad originally from Denmark and mum from Finland, and would value somebody with an excellent level of English who is proactive, warm and easy to have around. They are looking for a nanny who will become a trusted and consistent presence in their son’s life as he grows. This role will suit an experienced nanny who is nurturing, developmentally focused and excited by the prospect of building a lasting relationship with a lovely family.
