A wonderful opportunity for an experienced Live in Nanny to join a warm and welcoming family in Zug, Switzerland, working alongside their long standing nanny in a shared care role Job Summary: A lovely family based in the beautiful city of Zug are looking for a caring, proactive and experienced Live in Nanny to support their family and work alongside their long standing nanny. The family have four children aged 6 years, 4 years, 2 year old and 5 month old. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team within a relaxed, supportive household. This is a shared care role where you will generally be responsible for one or two children at a time rather than sole charge of all four. The parents are extremely hands-on and, at weekends, the role is very much a Mother’s Help position, with both parents present and actively involved in family life. The family are looking for someone who enjoys this collaborative style of working and is happy to support wherever needed. The role is offered Tuesday to Saturday, working 40 hours per week. Driving would be beneficial, as you may occasionally assist with transporting the children, although everything is within walking distance and public transport is excellent. A separate staff apartment is provided, shared with the family’s other nanny.. Job specification: Providing attentive care and support for the youngest children throughout the day Planning age-appropriate activities including play, reading, arts and crafts Supporting nap routines and daily care Assisting with morning and evening routines Keeping the children’s bedrooms, play areas and belongings organized Children’s laundry Preparing simple, healthy family meals Providing light household support as part of a shared-care Mother’s Help role Working closely alongside the family’s long-standing nanny to ensure the smooth running of the children’s routines Candidate specification: Previous experience caring for similar aged children Comfortable working within a shared-care environment alongside another nanny Warm, caring and genuinely enjoys supporting family life Good spoken English French or German would be advantageous Flexible and happy to assist where needed within agreed duties Confident driver with a clean driving licence (family car provided) EU passport holder Looking for a long-term position with a lovely family Accommodation: Separate flat – 3 bedroom, kitchen, family room, laundry – shared with the other nanny Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate How to apply: Applying for this position: Please email your interest in this position to [email protected] Please ensure you include the reference number for the position you are applying for (found at the top of the advert).
