About the Role A Class Care is seeking compassionate and dedicated female Live-In Care Assistants to support clients in their own homes in the Ipswich, Suffolk area. This role involves providing high-quality, person-centred care while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing. Due to the specific personal care needs and expressed preferences of our clients , this position is open to female applicants only in accordance with the Equality Act 2010. Key Responsibilities • Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting • Assist with mobility and transfers • Support with medication management • Prepare meals and assist with feeding if required • Carry out light household duties (cleaning, laundry, shopping) • Offer companionship and emotional support • Monitor and report any changes in the client’s condition • Maintain accurate daily records Requirements • Previous experience in care (preferred but not essential as training can be provided) • Must be female due to client requirements • Must be registered on the DBS Update Service (essential) • A caring, patient, and reliable nature • Good communication skills • Ability to work independently and adapt to different client needs What We Offer • Competitive pay rates • Paid training and ongoing support • EAP Program • Flexible rotation patterns • Opportunities for career progression This role is covered by the Genuine Occupational Requirement in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010 A Class Care is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable individuals.
