Description
About Our Client Our client is one of the nation's premier plaintiff securities litigation firms—consistently ranked at the top by Chambers, Benchmark, and Best Lawyers. They prosecute high-profile class actions nationwide on behalf of institutional and individual investors to recoup losses caused by securities, antitrust, and consumer law violations. By design, our client operates as a selective, high-impact firm focused on quality over volume. Their paralegals are not just paper-pushers— they are integral team members who directly contribute to case strategy and factual development alongside world-class attorneys. Why You Should Join • High-Impact Work: Go toe-to-toe with the country's largest defense firms on high-stakes, headline-making securities cases. • Prestige & Reputation: Represent major institutional investors ranging from regional funds to the largest public pension funds in the United States. • Balanced Hybrid Model: Enjoy a structured hybrid schedule (3 days in-office) that balances collaboration with flexibility. • Competitive Pay & Perks: Base salary of $100K–$130K (commensurate with experience) plus a discretionary performance bonus, generous paid time off (11–12 legal holidays), 401(k), FSA, and premium medical coverage. Key Responsibilities • Litigation Support: Assist attorneys through all phases of securities litigation, including rigorous cite checking, fact checking, and proofreading legal documents. • Factual & Legal Research: Conduct in-depth research to construct and solidify the factual foundations of complex cases. • Discovery & e-Discovery Management: Oversee document reviews and manage e-discovery platforms (e.g., Relativity, Everlaw). • Filings & Tracking: Coordinate and track complex motion filings in federal and state courts. • Marketing & Business Development: Assist with key administrative/marketing initiatives, including completing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for government entities. Qualifications & Requirements • Education: Bachelor's degree required (four-year degree; paralegal certificates alone without a Bachelor's will not be considered). • Experience: 2 to 5 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably within securities, antitrust, or complex commercial class actions. • Core Skills: Exceptional writing, meticulous proofreading, and sharp organizational skills. • Schedule: Ability to work in-office 3 days a week. Fully remote work is not available. • Track Record: Stable work history showing steady progression and a genuine commitment to plaintiff-side legal work.
