Litigation Paralegal
Job description:
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from case initiation through resolution, and provide support in legal research, document management, and case preparation.
This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery requests (interrogatories, requests for production, and admissions)
• Organize and maintain internal case files, discovery materials, contracts, and deadlines.
• Conduct and summarize legal and factual research.
• Communicate professionally with clients, witnesses, experts, and court personnel.
• Schedule and coordinate depositions, mediations, and hearings
• Assist attorneys during trial preparation and in-court proceedings
• Gather, review, and summarize medical records and other supporting documentation
• Prepare and organize exhibits and trial binders
• Support attorneys with additional projects and case management as needed
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree (required)
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of litigation experience (personal injury experience preferred)
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) & case management software (Filevine)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
