About the role Are you a Legal Assistant looking for a dynamic and exciting new role in a rapidly growing entrepreneurial and community-focused organisation? We are current seeking a passionate and dedicated Legal Assistant to provide top-notch administrative and assistant support to the Litigation team in Law. You will be an integral part of the team, ensuring that the team has all the support they need to deliver exceptional service to our clients! About BlueRock Law BlueRock Law is a fast-growing mid-sized law firm that is increasing in revenue year on year. We are part of an entrepreneurial advisory firm with substantial accounting, wealth management, finance, insurance and digital teams that provide holistic advice to our clients in the SME space. What you’ll be doing What can you expect in your day to day as a Legal Assistant? Well, you can expect to have a challenging and diverse role that will keep you engaged and motivated every day. This will include: Create and maintain client files using appropriate systems (electronic and physical where applicable) to ensure documents are correctly filed and easily accessible. Prepare court and tribunal documents, notices and briefs to Counsel, ensuring accuracy and timely lodgement. Manage e‑filing and online court lodgements across relevant jurisdictions. Oversee e‑discovery processes, including data collection, review and production where required. Obtain, amend and collate building contracts, including Australian Standard contracts. Manage billing, debtor follow‑up and general accounts administration for the Litigation team. Coordinate client appointments and manage busy diary schedules. Provide general administrative support to the Litigation and wider law team as required, including incoming enquiries, and handle confidential client communications professionally.
