Our work will take you in different directions. We’re looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join our high performing New Buildings team in Melbourne . No two days are the same as you manage the equipment installation of KONE’s elevator products, across low-rise housing through to the world’s tallest skyscrapers. What will you be doing? • Installing Elevators & Escalators • Carrying out all activities in accordance with KONE policies and procedures including health, quality and safety standards • Managing teams of varying sizes performing leading hand duties • Adhering to site milestones and programmes • Liaising with the Management team on site progress and activities • Working to actively maintain customer relationships in the local region What are we looking for? • 3+ years lift industry experience required • Qualified Certificate 111 in Mechanical Engineering desired • Trade tickets desired- Dogging, Advanced Rigging • Leading hand experience in managing a small team of installers desired • Motivated and self- starter who can manage workload and competing priorities • Commitment to working safely with a strong focus on quality • A customer service mindset • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team There’s so much more to KONE than you may realise. • Enjoy career progression opportunities within a global organisation • Access a range of benefits that engage and motivate our employees and help us make KONE a great place to work • Grow with comprehensive learning and development programs covering a wide range of professional skills • A job at KONE is the start of an experience like no other.
